J.A.K.Q. Lightning Strike Team battles the international criminal orginization CRIME, lead by Iron Claw (Ishibashi, Masashi).

Iron Claw Iron Claw

Although Iron Claw appears human but he is in fact a cyborg. Iron Claw gets his name from a metal clawed hand. This hand can fire explosive shells and detach itself from his body to attack his enemies on its own.

Warrior Iron Claw

Iron Claw is a master of diguise. He and Banba, S�kichi try to out do one another. Iron Claw transforms into Warrior Iron Claw.

Under Iron Claw are various human CRIME Bosses and robotic monsters of the week. If the CRIME Bosses aren't killed by J.A.K.Q. then they are executed by Iron Claw for failing in their assignments. The CRIME Bosses last the first 21 episodes, after that the monsters are put in charge of their own plans.

There was no CRIME Boss in this episode to give Devil Scrap orders. Instead the plan to destroy J.A.K.Q. was devised by Devil Scrap. The monster created a squad of cyborgs, the Scrap Army (Scrap Gundan).



Shine

Episode 23 reveals that Iron Claw is actually second in command of CRIME. The true leader is the mysterious enity known as Shine. Shine turns out to be an Artificial Intelligence from another galaxy which has been using CRIME in an attempt to conquer Earth.

"J.A.K.Q. Lightning Strike Team vs. Goranger" (Movie)

Although it appeared that Iron Claw had been killed in the final episode of J.A.K.Q. Dengeki Tai he had in fact survived and was secretly recreating CRIME. Off camera (ie not shown in the movie) the Gorangers battle CRIME agents in Africa, Kikaida battles CRIME agents in Mongolia, Kamen Rider V3 battles CRIME agents in Europe and Kamen Rider Amazon battles CRIME in the Amazon jungle. When CRIME's top agents journey to Japan the Gorangers follow them back home and join JAKQ in defeating them.

UFO crew

The four masked kaijin in this film were assisted by both Zolders (from Himitsu Sentai Gorenj�) and Crimers (from J.A.K.Q. Dengeki Tai. The UFO Captain also had his own crew.

"J.A.K.Q. Lightning Strike Team vs. Goranger" was the first of the Sentai series cross over films. It's the first one set after both TV series had concluded.
