Every Dark robotic monster was assisted by androids (also known as drones).

Most of the time the androids were armed with Naginats, a Japanese polearm. The androids were weak compard to the robotic monsters, a single blow from Jiro could explode one. In the early episodes the androids ran around shouting "Daaku, Daaku" (Dark, Dark) but later they switched to repeating their leader's name, "Giru, Giru" (Gill, Gill).

Like the monsters the androids could appear human.


female androids (black)

Red Lady Jellyfish had "female" androids that wore black.


Pink Armadillo and female androids (pink)

Peach Armadillo and Violet Top Shell had female androids that wore pink. Some of these androids also acted as Professor Gill's personal body guards. Androids that worked as lab technichians wore white. Red Hornet had androids that could transform into smaller versions of him and could fly.
