31. Calling for Jiro's Death Octopus Gold

Back at Dark headquarters Professor Gill berates Octopus Gold for taking so long to finish the regional labortory. He orders Octopus Gold to kill anyone who discovers their operations.

Mitsuko and Masaru arrive at Yorago, by train. They traveled with a young girl, Kazuko and her father. As Mitsuko and Masaru go looking for their father, Kazuko and her father enjoy their vocation.

At a beach Kazuko kicks a rock down a cliff. The rock hits Hanpei, who appears to be fishing, but is really just napping. Kazuko and Hanpei don't notice a group of Dark androids. Kazuko's father does and tries to signal her. The androids pass by and all seems well then Octopus Gold appears and is about to kill Kazuko's father but stopped by the sound of Jiro's guitar. Jiro jumps down off a lighthouse to fight the Dark. Kazuko's father tuns to runaway and falls off a cliff.

Jiro changes into Kikaida. Kikaida destroys the androids. Pieces of one fall down a cliff, landing on Hanpei who runs away. Octopus Gold tries "Octopus Black" on Kikaida, but Kikaida jumps clear. Octopus Gold gets Kikaida in "Octopus Wrap". As Octopus Gold tries to crush him Kikaida chops off one of the monster's tenetacles.

Doctor Komyoji is working on a crab boat. Standing on a bridge looking down, Mitsuko and Masaru, see the boat but not their father. Hanpei drives up. Mitsuko shows Hanpei the newspaper photograph which brought her and Masaru to Yorago. Hanpei says he can discover clues in the photo but only in a comfortable setting.

Mitsuko, Masaru and Hanpei enter a hotel. They find Jiro and Kazuko in the lobby. Jiro scans the photograph of Dr. Komyoji. He says it was taken at the Yorago airport. As Mitsuko, Masaru, Hanpei and Kazuko hed for the airport Jiro returns to the beach to search for Kazuko's father.

On the crab boat Dr. Komyoji pulls a man out of the ocean. Kikaida is searching for Kazuko's father underwater.

No one at the airport recognizes the photograph so Mitsuko and company return to the hotel. Hanpei enjoys the seafood but the rest don't eat. A man wearing blue shoes and gloves enters the hotel. Hanpei dressed in a green costume is dancing as the hotel orchestra plays. Mitsuko, Masaru and Kazuko continue to look glum.

Octopus Gold finds Kazuko's father and Dr. Komyoji at the crab boat's dock but before he can harm them Jiro appears. Dr. Komyoji and Kazuko's father run away. Professor Gill plays his flute.

Dr. Komyoji and Kazuko's father board a bus.

Kazuko takes Mitsuko, Masaru and Hanpei to the Tottori Sand Dunes because her father had planned to take her there. They are followed by the man wearing blue shoes and gloves.

Octopus Gold tells Jiro that he is taking revenge for his fallen Dark brothers and brags that he will tear off his arms and legs then shred his body. He begins to name the destroyed Dark robots as he slams Jiro into the ground.

Dr. Komyoji and Kazuko's father exit the bus.

Octopus Gold throws Jiro into the air. Jiro lands on a boat, crashing threw it. The crash covers the sound of Professor Gill's flute. Jiro transforms into Kikaida and leaves the area of Sidemachine.

At the dunes a monsterous blue hand reaches for Kazuko.

A small airplane carrying Dark androids flies over Dr. Komyoji and Kazuko's father. The androids fire machine guns at the men on the ground, until they spot Sidemachine. They leave the men alone to fire explosive charges at Kikaida.

Octopus Gold catches up with Dr. Komyoji and Kazuko's father but Kikaida comes to their rescue.

Kikaida destroys all of Octopus Gold's androids. Octopus Gold tries "Octopus Black" one last time. Kikaida uses "Spinning Attack" on Octopus Gold followed by "Giant Swing Throw" and "Electromagnetic End". Octopus Gold is destroyed. Blue Electric Eel appears to challenge Kikaida. Kikaida accepts the challenge. Blue Electric Eel zaps Kikaida with an electric ray.

Mitsuko, Masaru and Hanpei hear a strange sound. They start off in the direction of the sound. They realize that Kazuko is missing. They soon find her, carrying Kikaida's left arm! Mitsuko takes the arm and runs down the beach calling for Jiro. The others chase after her.

"Kikaida defeated Octopus Gold. Mitsuko's cries fade away into the sand dunes. Where are Jiro and Dr. Komyoji? Blue Electric Eeel stalks Mitsuko and the others."
