8. The Carmine Spider
Ominously Laughs
A kid walks home
alone, and is ensnared by Carmine
Spider, who “wants his blood!” A Boy Scout, Ken’ichi is
practicing his semaphore and is almost caught by the Spider. Hanpei
offers the services of his “assistant” Kikaida to help with this
problem. Jiro does show up when Spider attacks. He changes to Kikaida
and double chops Spider’s hands off. Komyoji watches from a distance. A
female scientist wants Professor Gil to help her find her brother. Gil
wants Potion XR4, which will give him power over all mankind, but it
needs a certain kind of RH-negative blood from a child. Spider returns,
handless. Ken’ichi is sick from the Spider’s bite. Hanpei’s car gives
him trouble, and then Spider’s hand does as well, by putting the pinch
on him. Jiro figures out the Dark needs RH Blood. The scientist goes to
treat Ken’ichi but Jiro sees that she is a Dark agent. She pulls a gun
on them, and then proceeds to explain why she is with the Dark. The
androids attack! Hanpei takes Ken’ichi with him, but he only has 30
minutes to live if he doesn’t get treated. The gang follows his Boy
Scout trail, and it’s Jiro to the rescue! Gil plays the flute, but Jiro
uses the Spider’s web to block it and change! He destroys Carmine
Spider, and Jiro lectures the woman before she dies. Later he tells
Ken’ichi to study and then leaves.
