Akira (Goto,
Yoshihide) was the second son of Professor Gill. After the destruction
of the Dark Destruction Corps, by Kikaida, Akira was left homeless. The
blueprint for the heart of the Giant Devil robot was written on his
back with invisible ink. He was hunted by both the Hakaida Squad and
the Shadow organization.
Akira was
protected by Ichiro/Kikaida 01, a mysterious woman named Rieko, for a time Jiro/Kikaida
and eventually Misao. Akira has an older brother, Hiroshi.
