Episode 37: A Little Hero
(featuring Monster Chief Geronimon)
A Pigmon appears in a Tokyo department store, scaring the adults, but not the children. The store calls the police. The police call SSSP who recognize Pigmon as friendlly reasure the other adults its harmless and take it to their HQ. They release its trying to warn them about something but don't speak Pigmon. Arashi sugges taking Pigmon to a scientist who is studying dolphins. The scientist records Pigmons sounds, increases its a language but it may take some time to decipher. At the same time Ide is working on a monster translator (I thought he already made one).but he is having trouble with it. Arashi gets mad because he hasn't done maintaince on Spider Shot or Mars 133. Hayata recognises that Ide seems "blue". When he tries to cheer him up he learns Ide feels useless because its not his weapons or the SSSP that defeats the monsters its Ultraman. He tries to convince him that SSSP saved Ultraman too. At the lab, Pigmon is becoming increasingly aggitated. That night Dorako and Telesdon suddenly rive and attack each other. Suddenly they stop fighting.
The next morning Pigmon's words are translated: "The monster that the SSSP and Ultraman have defeated are being resurrected by Geronimon's power and are planning an assault on the SSSP as revenge. In five hours, over 60 monsters from across the world will gather in Japan. You must defeat Geronimon while you still can. Geronimon is the Monster Chief. It possess psychic powers. Beware." Pigmon leads the SSSP to the monster gathering point so they can fight Geronimon before over 60 monsters appear. Arriving where Dorako and Telesdon are Cap assigns Hayate and Ide to take on Dorako while Arashi and Fuji join him in dealing with Telesdon. They all want Pigmon to say safely in the jet. Ide is still convinced they cannot do anyhthing without Ultraman, Hayata tells him Ultraman will only appear if they are fighting too. Cap, Arashi and Fuji take down Telesdon first, using "Triple Shot" (placing Super Guns close together and firing at the same time). Hayata wounds Dorako with Mars 133. Ide is calling for Ultraman. Hayata stares at the Beta Capsule then puts it away. Pigmon appears to distract Dorako and is killed. This infuraites Hayata who choose Ide out that slaps him. Ide finaly coming to his senses attaches his new invention "Spark 8" to his Super Gun, turning it into a gatling gun. Dorako is vaporized. Geronimon finally comes out of hiding and attacks Cap, Arashi and Fuji. knocking them flying into the air. Now Hayata becomes Ultraman to save them. Geronimon fires giant feathers at Ultraman from its tail. When Ultraman flies they follow him like homing missiles, But continues use of Specium Ray destroys them..Back on the ground,Ultraman raises a shield to block the monster's breath weapon. Then lifts the monster over his head. Ide takes very careful aim with Spark 8 and vaporizes the monster. Prooving that Ultraman and SSSP help each other. Ultraman nods at Ipe then flies away. Cap, Arashi and Fuji declare ide a star and a hero. Hayata arrives with another hero, the body of Pigmon. Fuji cries. Cap declares Pigmon "SSSP Special Member" for its bravery. Arashi calls for "silence" in a very loud voice. And all the surviving SSSP members salute Pigmon and remove their helmets. And "Taps" is heard being sung.
