Episode 24: Pyramid is a Terrible-Monster's Nest!
(featuring Ancient Terrible-Monster Sphinx)
Children at school doing their execises start passing out. Other children say they saw a red smoke come out of the ground. TAC is apparent contacted because Hokuto and Minami show up at the school. Nothing strange found at first but the red smoke and small pyramid come up out of the ground. A young woman appears and seems to be moving toward the smoke. Hokuto and Minami stop her. when she releases theyre from TAC the ground shakes part of the school collapses and another pyrmaid appears. Children affected by the red gass need blood transusions Hokuto and Minami who are both type B offer their bload. The young woman refuses to be tested, refuses a transfusion and wont' answer Minami's questions about why she was trying to enter the red smoke. At TAC HQ they have anylyised the pyramid and determined it made of a high-density alloy not of this world. TAC researchers are working on V9 explosive.. That strange young woman is wandering around. She's suddenly in pain. She takes a bag out of her purse and breaths the red smoke. Two men see her and assuming it some drug want to get high to. She asks them what the know about TAC. She asks what V9 is but they only know what they read in the newspaper about V7. They tell her its at TAC base which is at the foot of Mt. Fuji. They take her bag of red gas and she runs off. The breath the red gas and collapse. THe woman gets on a bus going to a golf course near Mt Fuji and when she feels ill again she pulls out another bag of the red gas which cures her but poisones everyone else including the driver, In TAC Panther, Hokuto and Minami spot the bus and as she takes the wheel of the car, he climbs out the window onto the bus, in a window and is able to stop the bus before it crashes. Seeing Hokuto she pretends to faint, trying to gain his sympthaty. It works, while Minami realises the same person shouldn't show up everytime there is red smoke Hokuto thinks she should be so supicious. Minami finds her trying to break into a locked room with guards on the ground. The woman pulls out a device which sprays red smoke and Minami collapses. The woman runs away without getting into the room. But Minami wakes up and finds a bomb attached to the door of the room the V9 is kept in.She defuses the bomb. The strange woman is riding a motorcycle. Minami is in persuit in a TAC Panther. She catches up to the woman by the Pyramid, she admits she's an Alien Orion any enemy of Earth. Minami pulls her gun but is sucked into the pyramid. A voice tells her Earth was once a colony of Orion's but they hid from a flood 13,000 years and now they want the Earth back. The woman wants back in the pyramid but the male sounding Alien Orion wont let her in says she's actually staring to like humans, which she denies. She pleeds that without Orion Gas she will die, He says "go ahead and die". Hokuto finds the woman at the foot of the pyramid. He's finally become supicious when he asks where Minami is she claims not to know, when he asked if she planted the bomb to destroy V9 she claims to know nothing about it. He slaps her. The pyramid opens, releasing a Terrible-Monster. It sprays fire, destroying a build. TAC Falcon is immediatly launched. The captain has Konno launch a TAC Arrow and then lands the Falcon for the rest to begin a ground assault. Konno is shot down but ejects safely. Seperated from the rest and closest to the Terrible-Monster is the most in danger. When it looks like he's been killed and he lets out a scream, the female Orion still in human form runs to him and finally admits the truth. Kaji raidos the captain that V9 is completed and tested and can be launched in one hour, the captain says "no, thirty minutes", Kaji say he will do his best to have it ready. A cross with Minami chained to it come out of the tip of the pyramid. Even the worst monsters in tokusatsu are not barbaric as to actually nail a person to a cross. The male Alien Orion taughts TAC sayiing that if they use V9 their target will be her. Of course, Hokuto jumps into TAC Panther to drive to TAC HQ to board a TAC Arrow which he flies towars the pyramid. As its show down his Ultra Ring flashes and he ejects. For the first time we don't see Minami's Ultra Ring flash as well. But Hokuto manages to fall ontop her her so they Ultra Touch. The Terrible-Monster sprays fire at Ultraman Ace, he returns the favor shooting fire out of his fingers. When it appears Ace may lose this fight, the female Orion, sitll in human form, starts playing a strange flute which calms the Terrible-Monster. As Ace recovers the male Orion kills the woman. Ace uses his Ace Blad to decapitate the Terrible-Monster. When the headless Terrible-Monster still tries to fight him Ace blases it with a rainbow beam from his Color Timer causing the Terrible-Monster's body to explode and bird. The head retursn to the pyramid which Ace picks up, hurls into the air and destroys with his Metalium Beam. He then revovers the body of the dead female Orion and returns it to Orion (and presumably warns the Orions to leave Earth alone). A new star appears and TAC assumes she's become a star. >Preview of next episode<. "See you next week".
