Episode 41: Winter Horror Series - Scary Story! Lion Drum
(featuring Lion Terrible-Monster Sisigoran and Evil God Terrible-Monster Kaimanda)
Boys are playing hide and seek. A friend of Dan's father is praying to an idol when its eyes flash. Dan and Shin find a lion's head mask, Shin's father was a lion dance who got attacked bt some drunken men and wants revenge, Dan says it crying but Shin says a piece of wood cannot cry. After the boy doing the seaking finds them Shin decided to play "Terrible-Monster" by wearing the lion's head mask. Other boys show up and pretend to be Ultraman Ace. Ultraseven and Father of Ultra, Dan is concerned they will break the expensive lion's head mask. Hokuto and Mikawa show up. When she calls TAC HQ to report no anomolies, Yoshimura says to look more closely becaus they've detected indications of a Terrible-Monster in the area. Dan and the other boys agree to be on the look out for a real Terrible-Monster. Hokuto tellls them to be careful. Shin goes to put the lion's head mask away, accompanied by Ken who was playing drums, but Shin finds he cannot remove the lion's head. When Ken cannot pull it off Shin, Shin sends him to find his father. His father cannot remove the mask either. The eyes on the mask flash red and when Shin points at his father something takes him over, forcing him to play the drums. Shin keeps snapping the lion's jaw and then suddenly transfroms into Lion Terrible-Monster Sisigoran. Mikawa alerts TAC HQ. Hokuto wants Mikawa to evacuate the children but Dan (who as ready been called the "6th Ultraman Brother" twice by the other boys) tells Hokuto that as the "6th Ultraman Brother" he cannot leave when his friend has been turned into a Terrible-Monster. Ken wants to stay too, but Hokuto tells Mikawa to remove the other boys but lets Dan stay. Dan doesn't want Hokuto to shoot the Terrible-Monster because he mit hit Shin inside it. Mikawa returns and she asks about the drumming. Dan is the one who recognizes it as the drumming of the lion dance. Hokuto goes looking for the source. TAC Space 1 and 2 arrive. Dan points out Hokuto is in the danger zone and Mikawa radios the jets asking them to hold off attacking. Captain Ryu and Yoshimura, land to help Hokuto find the drummer on the ground. Yamanaka and Konno do the same. But its Hokuto who finds the drummer, who runs from him. Suddenly, Evil God Terrible-Monster Kaimanda appears.Hokuto finds himself facing streams of flame from Terrible-Monster Kaimanda and explosive bursts from Terrible-Monster Sisigoran. Suddenly, Ultraman Ace appears.
Adter knocking down Terrible-Monster Sisigoran, Ace puts out Terrible-Monster Kaimanda's fire and conctrates on beating up on it. Terrible-Monster Sisigoran soon recovers and Ace is caught in the middle of the two Terrible-Monsters. He blows up Terrible-Monster Kaimanda with a beam from his hand. He holds back on blasting Terrible-Monster Sisigoran because the boy Shin is inside its stomach. The rest of TAC finally catch up with the drummer. Shin's possessed father. Yamanaka brags he can kill him with one shoot, but Captain Ryu reminds the team he's just a human and no their enemy. So he shoots the drums. Ace's hands turn red and his hits the monster before using Metalium Beam. The monster falls down and then vanishes, no explosion, Shin lays on the ground unconcsious. Hokuto carries Shin to his now normal father. Later, Shin plays the drum as his father does the lion dance inside TAC HQ with all of the TAC team and Dan as the audience. He claiims this make TAC free of evil spirits for one year.
