Ultraman Ace Episode 49

Episode 49: The Flying Jellyfish
(featuring Aquarius Terrible-Monster Aquarius and Alien Univerlages)

A spacehip is heading to Earth. TAC spots it on radar. When the ship arrives it disburces a black cloud which makes it disappear from the radar besides hiding it from the naked eye. When a bolt of lightning come out of the cloud a woman in white carrying large urn apepars on the ground where it hit. The next morning a villager notices the strange black cloud and the woman in white. The woman walks up a hill that communicats with the space ship. She reports Earth is ripe for colonization and enslavement of the humans. A male sounding voice thanks her for the report calling her Aquarius. A giant alien jellyfish, Univerlages, comes out of the cloud. The Univerlages destroys an airplane. The airplane crash is reported to TAC. Hokuto, Konno and Yoshimura are sent to investigate, in TAC Falcon. The jelly fish alien appears and they assume its a Terrible-Monster and fire on it. Univerlages grabs the TAC Falcon with one of its tenticales and apparently drains the fighters fuel, The crew eject. At TAC HQ they ready some new equipment. Aquarius orders the villagers to capture the TAC Falcon crew claiming the jelly fish is not a Terrible-Monster but a god and she is god's messanger, The villagers laugh at her. She fires a read beam at them, causing explosions but not actually harming them. When her "god" darkenes the sky these foolish villagers become her slaves doing as she orders. They capture Hokuto, Konno and Yoshimura who try to tell the foolish and idolterous villagers that what's in the cloud is a space creature not a god. Most of the villagers and the woman leave the TAC crew with only a couple guards. Yamanaka suddenly appears, over powers the guards and releases his team mates. He sends Konno and Yoshimura to the second TAC Falcon he managed to fly there and land without the alien Univerlages noticing. He and Hokuto go after the Aquarius.

Univerlages Terrible-Monster Aquarius

When Yamanaka and Hokuto catch up with tAquarius, she shoots at them, they shoot back. She runs away. The follow after but lose her. They catch up with Konno and Yoshimura but the villagers find the four of them. While they are are arguing with the foolish villagers, TAC Space arrives and sprays a gas which disappaints the black cloud revealing the alien spaceship. TAC Space cannot seem to hit the spacehip and then an alien Univerlages leaves the ship so it appears TAC Space has two enemies. Yoshimura uses the laser gun he brought from TAC Falcon. Three hits on the Univerlages alien and it is disinigrated. TAC Space finally hits the alien ship and is goes down the alien onboard orders Aquarius orders her to fight before the ship explodes and the alien is presumably killed. Aquarius cries. She jumps into the air. Hokuto shoots at her but apparently hits the urn which explodes.. Aquarius reveals her true form, that of a Terrible-Monster. Hokuto says he will hold it off while the other three TAC officers evacuate the villagers. Hokuto shoots at the Terrible-Monster with his TAC Gun and TAC Space fires missiles at it. As Hokuto is blased off a cliff he becomes Ultraman Ace. At first the Terrible-Monster just stands there letting Ace hit it, his blows doing it no harm at all then it raises one claw and pokes him in the eyes. He recovers quickly. The Terrible-Monster rips out a tree apparently to distract Ace as it blasts him with missiles the flower on its shoulder. Ace then punches and kicks the Terrible-Monster to death. And then for some reason he decided to give it a proper burial. He's never done that before. The villagers appologize to TAC. All the TAC officers get into a TAC Panther and drive off. >Preview of next episode<. "See you next week".

Note: Univerlages, the jellyfish alien is the first alien that is actually a puppet rather than an actor in a costume. More puppets will be used in Ultraman Leo. Univerlages is the third giant monster killed by TAC and first done so withou Ultraman Ace distracting it. for them.
