13. Pink Tiger's
Amusement Park Assault
Professor Gil sends Pink Tiger to the Yokohama Dreamland
to find a secret android part. Jinbei (played by A
HREF="http://www.classichenshin.com/kewalaka/tj.htm">Tatara,
Jun), an old android Komyoji built has it. Pink Tiger causes some
general ayhem. Masaru and Mitsuko arrive at the park. Hanpei's car
gives him trouble. Jinbei tells Mitsuko he hasn't seen her father, who
then arrives. Pink Tiger also shows up quickly followed by Jiro. Jiro
fights Pink Tiger, who uses his weapons "Tiger Gun" and "Tiger Ring" to
battle him. Gil plays the flute, but a roller coaster car blocks the
sound! Change! As Kikaida beats on the robots, Pink Tiger uses "Tiger
Fog" to get away.
Pink Tiger tortures
Jinbei to get the circuit, but Jinbei sends Jiro an electronic SOS.
Jinbei realizes the circuit is inside him. Kikaida arrives to save him,
and Jinbei gives him the circuit as his dies. Gil tells Pink Tiger to
kill Kikaida, but that doesn't work! Kikaida makes short work of Pink
Tiger. Mitsuko, Masaru, Hanpei and Jiro look at the circuit, and then
to keep it safe put it in Jiro's memory bank. He promises Masaru he
will find Professor Komyoji and zooms off.
Notes: We get
a good look at the amusement park. The band is playing "When the Saints
Come Marching In" while they are there. You can barely see Pink's
stripes. Pink comes with a lot of weapons, but they do him no good.
Androids can speak electronically to each other, but the Dark ones
couldn't hear it. It's a cool effect, with the words showing up as they
think them. The actor playing Jinbei does a good job, and is provided
with a great voice. As Kikaida carries Jinbei off, he tells Jinbei to
get a hold of himself as he falls apart.
