Kikaida: Summary of episode 4

4. The Evil Blue Buffalo Sets A Trap

Blue Buffalo appears and kills a dockworker. He wants to know where Prof. Komyogi's houseboat is. Masaru, Mitsuko and Jiro are on the boat, when it is attacked by Dark Androids- they set bombs to blow it up. Jiro grabs the bombs and leaps into the water, where they explode. Blue Buffalo is tested in front of prospective buyers, so the Dark can continue their mission.

Hanpei has car trouble, and uses "ninja magic" to fix the flat tire. Yukiko Togawa is in the car, trying to get to her injured daughter Hikari. Blue Buffalo drags the car back toward the Dark Base, but Yukiko gets out and runs away- right into Blue Buffalo! We suddenly hear Jiro's guitar, and then a Dark Android pulls off his mask and it's Kikaida! Hanpei rescues Yukiko as the fight rages on. However, Blue Buffalo gets her at Hanpei's office, and he sells out to the Dark! Jiro rescues Hikari, and goes to Hanpei's office, who sends them toward the trap. Masaru guilts him into helping rescue Jiro. Jiro and Hikari are in an elevator when the trap is sprung. Gil plays the flute to stop Jiro from changing and escaping. Hanpei, Masaru and Mitsuko show up, and Hanpei's car horn blocks the flute! After a nice long battle, Kikaida destroys Blue Buffalo, reunites Yukiko with Hikari and speeds off.
