Professor Gill
Every Episode
Professor Gill is the insane founder of "Daaku Hakai Butai", the Dark
Destruction Corps (DDC), he seeks to dominate the world through
terrorism, and war. He sells robotic monsters to militaristic nations
in order to provide funds to manufacture more robots and to promote
more wars which will gain him more sales of robotic weapons.
Professor Gill seems
to take pleasure in sending his robotic monsters to terrorize and
murder the people of Japan, especially children. "Korose! Korose!
Korose!" (Kill! Kill! Kill!). Professor Gill is so twisted that he
stages "executions" of defective and useless androids (ie those that
fail to carry out his orders). He is obsessed with either bringing
Kikaida back to the Dark or destroying "him".
The professor is never
without his long, bat wing tipped flute. The sound of this flute causes
DDC robots to become even more aggressive than normal, it even effects
Jiro though once Jiro becomes Kikaida it does not effect him. The flute
can also be used as a weapon. In the fifth episode it gives off an
electrical charge the professor uses to punish Yellow Jaguar for
failing in his mission, in another episode the professor hits an
android with it causing the android to explode.
After Jinzo
Ningen Kikaida there was a sequel Kikaida-01,
Professor Gill appeared in episodes 14, 16 and 19.
Professor
Gill was played by And� Mitsuo. And� Mitsuo made a career playing
villains, Black Cross Fuehrer in Himitsu Sentai Goranger
(1975), Fuehrer Geisel in Inazuman Flash (1974),
Professor Monster in Toei's Spider-Man (1978),
etc. And� Mitsuo is deceased.
