Fujioka, Hiroshi was involved in an accident which made it necessary to temporarly replace him in order to continue the series -- thus Kamen Rider 2 appeared in episode 14.
Kamen Rider 2 is 172 cm (5 ft, 7 inches) tall, weighs 65 kg (143 lbs) and can jump up to 15 meters (49 feet).
Kamen Rider 2's special combat techniques include "Rider Kick", "Rider Kaiten (Rotating) Kick", "Rider Punch", and with Kamen Rider 1, "Rider Sharin (Wheel)" and "Rider Double Kick".
Kamen Rider II: When he was defeated by Dead Mangas, he left the safety of Japan to Kamen Rider I and headed for South America to strength[en] his body. In the deep Amazon jungles, he purposely was bitten by a deadly poisonous snake and other poisonous animals in order to build an immunity against the lethal serums.Ichimonji, Hayato was assisted in his battle against Shocker (and later Gel-Shocker) by Tachibana, Tobei founder of the Tachibana Motorcycle Club, mentor to the first seven Kamen Riders and FBI agent Taki Kazuya (played by Chiba, Jirô).
He also battled crocodiles to build his strength. His intense training resulted in the birth of a new body.
-- from an article in the Star-Bulletin & Advertiser, 1970 something.
The "Double Riders" would eventually defeat Shocker only to see a new group appear, Gel-Shocker. After the defeat of Shocker and Geldam surviving members of both groups would form Gel-Shocker. Kamen Rider 2 returns to Japan and the "Double Riders" destroy Gel-Shocker only to see yet another new group form, Destron, introduced in the second Kamen Rider series, Kamen Rider V3.
